Every time we lower the bridge, let down our defenses and let people in, we become vulnerable.
Every time we show more of ourselves to people, we give them a chance to judge us.
Every little detail about people, makes us look at them in a slightly different light, and vice versa.
It could be a positive or negative thing depending on who we let in.
A wrong person, can be like an intruder, going behind your back and exploiting your trust.. making you hollow from within and striking you at your weakest.
The right person can make the castle stronger, increase its strength. Make us believe it’s okay to have vulnerabilities.
It only makes us human.
